Tips & Trick: Boots Care

Do you own a pair of boots? If you do, then this is the last thing that you want to happen to your boots especially when you have an expensive boots. This boots is for one of my Cosplay character purposes.

So what's my tips in caring for my boots?

Continue reading and you'll know how.

Firstly, you'll need:

Yes, it's a bag to keep your boots from all the dust and dirt and also boots keeper to keep your boots in shape which I bought at Daiso. Simple as that!

Let's begin our step-to-step on keeping the boots in a good shape:

This is how the boots keeper looks like.

You'll need to roll up the boots keeper and lock it up as shown above.

This how it'll look like after you roll and locked it.

Then you insert the boots keeper into the boots.
Ta-dah! Your boots is in good shape now.

After getting your boots in good shape, make sure to keep them in the bag to keep away from dust.

Place the boots in the bags. Make sure the boots is standing well.
Pull the bag up and tie a knot. Now, your boots will be safe away from dust.
(Looks like wrapped up bento to me. LOL)

What's next, if it's not about polishing your boots. There 2 types of polishing material, the cream texture type and the liquid type. I am using the liquid type but some says the cream texture is much better. I can't really justify that as I've only use liquid so far, might try the cream one next time.

That's all for my tips & tricks for now. If you have your own way of caring for your boots, do share with me.

Till then.

Forever Farewell

It's about 3 weeks I have been missing from my blog.

Reason?

I had just lost a family member which I dear, whom is my paternal grandfather. He passed away 2 weeks ago at the age of 89 years old. I wanted to take things slow after his funeral so I kinda abandoned this blog for 3 weeks now.

Cause of death? According to mum, grandfather went into coma and doctor said some virus infection in his organs. Well, my family was hoping for the best and we also expecting the worst case scenario due to his serious condition. When my parents went visit grandpa in hospital, he seemed hardly recognized people except for my parents. Not only that, he kept uttering some nonsensical words like "Babi!" and "Hantu!" in perfect Malay language. That kinda freaked out my aunts and uncle. He seemed soulless and his eyes were wandering up the ceiling of his room only.

Maybe because of that my parents were expecting the worst. Not only that, before grandpa were admitted into hospital, he kinda vomited and passed motion of something black-ish (according to aunt whom in charge of taking care of grandpa) and that is a sign whereby according old Chinese people, they believe that if an elderly that vomitted and passed motion something black-ish, it signifies that the person is near the end of his life span.

That kinda scared me because his coma came pretty sudden to me. After few days he was admitted to hospital, he passed away after his second son visited him in hospital. Dad said grandpa had been favoring my second uncle since little so I guess grandpa finally willing to go after seeing his dearest son for the last time.

Despite knowing he might leave within those few days, it still hard not to feel sad over his departure. My greatest regret over his departure will be I was not by his side at his deathbed. The funeral was held over 3 days and grandpa wanted to undergo cremation method instead of burying.

Things will no longer be the same after his departure. The last conversation I had with him was 2 weeks before his funeral. I wished I could have appreciate more of that moment back then. Once gone, it's forever gone.

On the last day, after sending grandpa coffin in to crematorium, I saw bunch of young teenagers beside grandpa crematorium. The youngster beside my grandpa crematorium was only 18 when he died and reckless driving (car accident) was the cause. A girl then slowly walks behind the crowd with injured face and broken legs, which I presumed to be the deceased girlfriend. Then, I was looking for this youngster family members and parents. Then later my mum told me that in Chinese customs, the old cannot send the young which means that any person of your family members whom is elderly than you cannot send you off.

Then, it struck me that having loss my grandpa whom aged 89 or more than a decade year old man had been heart ache to all of us already. What more to that youngster's family member especially his parents to loss a son at the age of 18.

My advice here is that to all of you out there please and please never drink and drive and please drive safely and never speed. Imagine how heart ache your loved ones will be if anything happens to you. Please appreciate your loved ones before it's too late.

I realized that I tend to appreciate my family members even more now after grandpa departure.

That's all for now.

p/s: emotional post is emotional. still feeling sad over his departure but life has to move on.

Review: Pocky Almond Crush & Meltykiss Green Tea Chocolate

Do you have sweet tooth? Then, I am highly recommending this to you. I bought this in Cold Storage back in Johor. Both of it costs me RM8.99. Was the RM8.99 worthy of buying it?

 In my opinion, YES.

Wanna know why, then you should continue reading it.

Let's begin with Pocky Almond Crush first. What makes it different from your typical Pocky OR Rocky?

More chocolatey and ALMONDS. ( I love Almonds~). They have lots of Almond on it. The picture really justify it. Needless for me to elaborate more, just looking at it makes me hungry for it again. (drools)

For this, I am giving 4/5 rating.

How it looks in the inside. Kawaii ne~
Now, I present to you Meiji Meltykiss Green Tea Chocolate. It looks too cute to be eaten, isn't it? Not only it is cute but it is yummy too.

As for this one, I am highly recommending for those who loves green tea like myself. The chocolate coats the green tea inside, so when you put into your mouth, the sweet chocolate melts away then the slight bitterness of the green tea comes in. I really like how the chocolate sweetness blend in with the slight bitterness of the green tea.

Thus, I am giving this 5/5 rating.

That's all for this review. Stay tuned for my next post on Tips & Tricks.

Big Bad Wolf Book Sale

Big Bad Wolf Book Sale is in Johor now! Woohooo~~

I am really excited about this because I missed my chance during the BBW sales in Malacca as I was on my finals that time. Thus, I cannot missed my chance again this time. It's really hard to find books expo that sells such cheap english books and novels. Being an chinese illiterate, I always feel envy those chinese educated friends because the chinese novels are way much cheaper than english novels. For a standard english novels, it will definitely costs RM30 minimum.

I always wonder why the books and novels are so expensive while the government are trying to encourage the people to read more. How irony. I am sure that there are a lot of people out there who loves reading like me but couldn't afford those expensive novels. *sad*

Well, get back to this Big Bad Wolf, I feel really happy with my books hunt this time because I get good books and I can spend my last RM50 book voucher as well, killing two birds with one stone. My total purchase amounted RM54 which means I only need to fork out RM4 with my RM50 book voucher. For you out there, if you have not use yet your BBIM voucher, then this is a great chance to spend it away before it expire. So, grab the chance fast.

Here is what I got :

Cute bookmark

Too bad can't find Volume 1

Inside of the expo:

Here's my tips if you going to BBW:
  1. Wear something comfy. You want to wear outfits that allows you to move freely.
  2. Avoid heels. You will definitely stand quite awhile in searching for the right books so avoid wearing heels because you don't want to have blister at the end of your books hunt.
  3. Bring a water bottle. You want to make sure you don't get dehydrated when spending hours looking for books.
  4. Take your meals before going. You don't want to get hungry in the searching of books.
  5. Grab a box outside of the expo before going in.
That's all. I hope you'll enjoy your books hunt as well.

Do share with me if you have an interesting catch. Thanks for reading~
